Thanks to Dave & Blake for this information.

This picture is of a headvase that appeared recently on Ebay. Thanks to Blake Dwire and Russell Nemitz for bringing this to our attention. It appears to be a fake as the bottom ( shown on the right side of the attached picture ) has Napco (C) 1959 821A stamped on it. Heretofore the fakes or reproductions have not had any numbers or manufacturers names stamped on the bottom ( with the exception of some that have been showing up for over a year that have Nippon stamped on the bottom ). Napco did often use a 'C' but it was a C in a circle as in the Copyright symbol. This (C) seems to indicate Cira or CA which is not how they were marked. This one was 3" and went for $31.03 on Ebay. The jewelry also looks wrong for an original. We hope these pieces won't start showing up with stamped bottoms but it looks like it may be starting. I have now heard of 3 of these ( possibly from the same seller ).
